I seem to be unable to pull down the patch. At first I assumed the Aussie servers were down or something, but now when I try it brings down the first 1 or 2 percent (so it must be contacting a working server) then has a fit and gives me an error message. This is only happening with GT5. I downloaded some other junk off the PSN to make sure it wasn't that. I'm getting worried now...

Everyone is DLing the Patch atm. so just wait. the servers are bussy!

They can't be too busy! Turns out the downloader just didn't like my router (NFI why). Ran an ethernet cable straight from my cable modem and it downloaded the whole thing in about 90 seconds, so the servers can't be too stressed out for Aussies (Victorians anyway). So yeah, something was wrong. My concern was that I had corrupted PS3 data, but thankfully that wasn't the case.

No need to be rude. For all I knew it was a technical problem that someone else might have experienced. Turns out it was a technical problem.

Come to think of it, if the downloader's weird about wireless routers, that might actually explain some of the problems other people have been experiencing (eg; extremely low download rates when others near them were getting fast ones with equivalent internet connections).

I left the downloading action at around 50%, came back to nothing but a black screen and the PS3s green LED almost permanently lit. Its been like that for over 20 minutes now... what shall I do??? Restart? Wait longer? :scared:
