patch for online functions & damage?

I've completely done gt5p so I only play online.
However, online gaming is so boring now because you cannot communicate w/ anyone and make friends to challenge with.

Also, I'm so sick of the banging and bashing, the ridiculous penalty system and people using the rails to get pass you.
There is no online records of Wins/Losses - no motivation to play at all.

I've read the patch is comming soon. Does anyone know when?
This is the only game I play and it's so boring now....If it dosen't come soon I might as well sell the whole system and stop playing games.

Online play has vastly improved since GT5 PROLOGUE was released.

We all know that online can be ridiculous at times (and I am sick of REMOVED BY MOD hearing about it; there are plenty of threads here that talk about online races) but I wouldn't sell my PS3 because of one game! Sorry buddy but you have really fired me up with such a stupid comment. Grow up please.

Believe it or not there are more games out there than GT5P.
And if you do sell your Ps3 make sure it goes to someone who appreciates it
