hi all :) i'm in need of some tech help, so here go's...

i fancy driving GTR2 and GTL on my 26" lcd tv, so i've bought a vga to ypbpr cable in the hope of achieving this aim

optimist that i am, i was expecting to plug it in a be on the grid in a flash

of course, this wasn't the case. i looked around on the net a bit and discovered that its not as simple to get working
as i was hoping

it seems that for a start, my graphics card needs to be able to output to ypbpr. its an nvidia 7300le, and from what
little i've been able to find out, i think that it does output to component connections

can someone confirm or refute this for me please?

the best result that i've been able to get so far is seeing the hp invent logo screen, albeit with messed up colours
and then it goes blank blue at the point i reckon windows is booting up

i'd really appreciate your help in getting me onto the grid on my favourite sims on my big tv :D

thanks in advance all 👍

Mind posting the type of connections you have on the TV? Pictures help if you can take them and mind posting the model number(or just the video ports) to your graphics if possible?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like your graphics card has a HD15 (at least I would hope so) and your TV has DVI, so would something like this work?

Keep in mind that with this setup, audio would have to come through a different cable as neither HD15 or DVI carry audio. If you already have speakers connected to your PC then you're covered. I just don't want you to think the TV speakers would work, too.

thanks very much for the replies guys 👍 i've changed tack and gone for the s-video to scart route and its worked a treat :D
