PC DVD player reading problems.

At first, I have no clue what's going on. My PC DVD player won't playing some anime DVDs I bought. I tried to load my game DVD, it reading fine. Then I tried my little brother PC, can playing my anime DVD perfectly fine.

What's wrong with my DVD player, and did I missing some special codec to working? My DVD player is LITE-ON DVD-RW SHW160P6S.

It may be a type of DVD it's having trouble with. You can try regular movies too. If that does not work then you'll have to look into a replacement. An replacement IDE DVD Burner Drive goes for $20-$35. Replacing it is just plug-n-play. It's easy to do.

Look like DVD drive got shot. *sigh* I will looking new DVD Burner Drive, Sony or ASUS?
