[PC] Shift 2 - Mods

As the title says, I'm interested in modding Shift 2. Got ahold of a copy for the PC recently and thought to myself, "hey, Shift 2 was pretty good on the Xbox and it'd be awesome if someone fixed the issues it has".

So, what I'm looking for is something that a) fixes the input lag and b) gives the cars a more planted/less floaty feel.

Any recommendations? Some other mods I should be aware of?
 
I haven't tried them myself but nogripracing.com has a good selection of Shift 2 mods, you need to 'unpack' the game first (no idea how, I assume there's a tool on NGR too) and there's a community mod pack I think which alters the tyre physics and adds some other things. I think that includes DLC the PC never got for whatever reason. I might be getting mixed up with a different game though.
