PCars Transmission

I am about to buy my first shifter (TH8A) and wanted to get a heads up about different transmissions using a stick, and what cars require what methods. I know that the H patten cars need heel/toe (which I am determined to learn), but I wanted mainly to know about using a sequential stick - I have seen in YouTube that some requires a throttle blip when downshifting, some still need a heel/toe downshift and some don't need anything. I wanted to know how to tell what car type needs what and if there are any options in the PCars menus??!!
I've seen on the official forums that the Ginetta G40 requires throttle blip and a throttle lift, can anyone expand on this?
