PD obsession in loop corners

Why has PD have an obsession whit "loops", in alot of the original track does have them them at all sizes.

1. New York (last corner)

2.Seoul Central (first)

3.Georg V paris

4.SSR5/ Clubman (first)

5.Madrid (second last corner)

6.Autumn (loop at bridge)

7.Space kart Loop

8.License test Circle Loop circuits

9.Rome circuit (second corner)

10. cape ring, carousel

In a way also Highspeed Ring, Grand valley, Midfield, Red rock, cathedral, El capitan, Beginner course, apricot hill has those

I was thinking it is becaus of drifting. drifting is popular in Japan so they made alot of loops...does that make sense?

Tokyo also (well, half loop). Nordschleife has one as well (Carousel) but it's obviously not designed by PD...

I think they are popular because they require delicate throttle control and you have to pick your line carefully if you want to be fast.

Can't forget Maxitsu. DRIFTING could be a reason. Sounds right.

How frustrating Cape Ring's loop is. It's not even a loop. It's more degrees than a circle ain't it? I want to cut that 🤬. Not seriously.

Never noticed PD has a thing for loops... I have noticed that they like tunnels. Lots of original tracks have them too.

Because loops are fun. It looks like the new kart track has loops too. Although that's a crazy track to begin with.

Funny been thinking about this few days ago. Dont know why, might be the for drifters yes.
Or maybe K.Y has an obssesion with loops lol. But these are difficult corners, important to get a good exit and thats tough with such long never ending corners. Dont really like them tbh.

A lot of skill required, though I've noticed that PD probably has more of an obsession for jumps on road courses
