How and where can i acquire any pearlescent cars in the game, i have 100% completion from a long time ago, and have a pearlescent nsx, but cant remember how i got it. :dopey:

And yes I did do a search on these cars, and came with nothing. :guilty:

Go look at the TVR dealer, the Cerbera and Speed 12 both have several pearlescent paint choices. It's defined as 'Having a pearly luster or gloss.'
Can't you just buy the NSX with that paint scheme? (I know which one you're talking about, it's gorgeous).
You might try the prize car colour list, but the paint schemes aren't specifically listed as 'pearlescent' (ex; the NSX is 'Boulder Opal Blue')

You know when the color changes, like the TVR speed 12 those cars have a color changing type color, and thats called pearlscent.

LIKE THIS https://www.gtplanet.net/gallery/photos/gt4_photomode/102574_1090511030_1.jpg :)

I thought the subject might be about the colour scheme. The only cars in the game that had those paint styles were the TVR's, but I was mistaken.

What color are you looking for.
There are a lot of pearl colors for the NSX
1. Spa Yellow Pearl and Monte Carlo Blue color for the NSX
2. Imola Orange pearl
3. Indy Yellow pearl
4. Midnight pearl
There are at least 8-10 different color pearls for the NSX.
Do you have a Sharkport?

The NSX paint jobs wouldn't have the same two tone effect as the TVRs would they?
No the pearl paint is different. Same with real life. The paint on the TVR's is know in real life as ChromaLusion paint. I could go into detail but its not really necessary.

Stop speculating. I'm about to edit in the DEFINITIVE answer to this query.

Right. "Pearlescent" doesn't mean it changes colour. A pearlescent finish just adds a certain depth to the colour. The colour-changing TVRs have "chameleon" or "reflex" paint.

The chameleon cars/colours are:
TVR Tuscan (Reflex Purple, Reflex Spice, Chameleon Orange, Chameleon Blue)
TVR Cerbera Speed 12 (Reflex Purple, Reflex Spice, Chameleon Orange, Chameleon Blue)

There's also a Honda NSX which comes in a similar style colour, called "Boulder Opal Blue". It's a Honda NSX TypeSZero which can ONLY BE WON at the Amateur Type-R Meeting. Be careful though - you can only win it ONCE and it comes in two colours - "Boulder Opal Blue" and the imaginatvely-titled "Purple".

There is nothing to speculate.
Pearl paint is different than cromalusion paint. No speculation about it.

Yet that fails to even slightly answer his query.

He simply had a word-confusion but was actually looking for further information. You were looking in GT3gEdit at the wrong NSX too.

I was just listing all the possible colors depending on what NSX he picked. :)
ANd I was also answering this question for him.
The NSX paint jobs wouldn't have the same two tone effect as the TVRs would they?

It was a different person, and you answered the question incorrectly.

The Boulder Opal Blue NSX has exactly the same colour-changing effect as the Reflex/Chameleon TVRs.

...although it isn't "pearlescent". That DOESN'T mean "changes colour".

For gods sake, stop the bickering, if i wanted to read crap that like i'd go read the supercars.net forums.

Yes, pearlescent and Chromalusion paints are the same, however pearl paint is different. They might be called obscure names in the games, but that's how it is.

What do i do ? I'm a painter / panelbeater by trade.
