In case some of you might have a need for something like this... Here's a little something I just created. It's a handy little multi-purpose tool that can be used for the following:

- Connect your Logitech G25, Logitech G27 or Fanatec pedals and read the signals with another board
- Connect your DIY pedals to your Logitech G25, Logitech G27 or Fanatec wheel
- As a Logitech G25 or G27 pedals to Fanatec wheel adapter
- As a Fanatec pedals to Logitech G25 or G27 wheel adapter (will not work with CSR Elite pedals or Clubsport model pedals)
- As a RJ12 to PS2 adapter (or vice versa)

Seem useful? :D

MRbasher, That might be something I am looking for, Very interesting.

Fantastic tool to connect CSR pedal to G27, will this do T500 also ? may be in the future?
Edit: i've just read it carefully.
question
what do you mean by
"- Connect your Logitech G25, Logitech G27 or Fanatec pedals and read the signals with another board"

Sorry for any confusion.

Actually it will not work with the Clubsport or CSR Elite pedals. At least, not to connect them directly to a wheel. It will however work with the normal CSR pedals and original Porsche pedals.

"- Connect your Logitech G25, Logitech G27 or Fanatec pedals and read the signals with another board"

What that means is that you can connect your pedals to the board, then board can then be connected to something like a Derek Spear or Leo Bodnar USB board.

As for the T500... I don't currently have a T500 to get the pinout on, but possibly in the future. :)

Am I seeing the chance of using CSP w T500RS on PS3!?
Please please all the genius out there make CSP work w T500RS on PS3 :D

Well... All I will say for now is that it's possible, but not with this device. Maybe later on I will introduce something that can interface with the Clubsport pedals.

I guess you would make some good money with that.

Well... All I will say for now is that it's possible, but not with this device. Maybe later on I will introduce something that can interface with the Clubsport pedals.

As a T500 user please please make that happen.

The other device that I've wondered if it's possible to make is a proper adapter to use Logitech or Thrustmaster wheels on 360, and have them function fully. There are so many people making awesome mods for sim racing right now. Very cool.

It's really extremely simple to accomplish. (the CSP to T500 adapter) However, I have some reservations about offering such a product due to the "finicky" nature of the CSP electronics... Support would be my main concern and to whom the user goes to for that support. I have to do some thinking on this...

In case you are wondering where I am coming from on this. I receive emails at least once per week asking if my Pedal Filter devices will fix issues with CSP and CSR Elite pedals. (They will not) I even state this in bold red on my site... It's unfortunate, but true.

I would definitely be interested in an adaptor to hook my Fanatec pedals up to the T500. I'm currently "unable" to purchase a wheel because the Fanatec wheels do not meet my wheel-criteria (I need a ROUND wheel, and I don't like their fake-leather much either, or how their rims are super-thick), and the T500 doesn't meet me needs because the pedals are apparently considerably lower quality than the fanatec sets.

So an adaptor that works well is something I would definitely purchase.

I'd would like to be able to make my own DIY hydraulic pedals, using a load cell amplifier + joystick controller. Maybe get myself a T500RS and connect the DIY hydraulic pedals to the T500.

or even better.

Convert the T500 pedals into hydraulic pedals and hook these to the T500 wheel without loss of resolution.

Are these options going to be possible in the near future (with a pedal decoder)?
If you can make this happen, I'll be a happy "mrbasher" customer. :D

I can easily make you a cable that would allow the use of this with a T500 wheel.

The hard part is making the pedals and electronics that are "on the other side" of the pedal adapter (decoder I called it). The prime issue with the T500 is that it outputs 3.3v for it's pedals and most of the boards and parts I see out there for this are 5 volt.

It's possible though... I'd have to look at the sensor being used. If the sensor played nice with 3.3v, you could use one of Derek's load cell amps. (since a millivolt sensor would be easiest in this case) Wiring it all up would not be too difficult really...

You don't need anything else. No controller to tear apart, no input board thing, none of that. You just connect it all to the pedal decoder.

This is something i would be very interested in
I have just got myself a T500 with GT rim And bought the F1 Rim as well.
Its all still sat in the boxes unused as i have been using Fanatec for so long.
I currently have aCSR wheel with CSR Elite pedals & The original Porsche shifters.
I am unsure which ser up to keep.
My priorities are :- in order
Really want to keep Load Cell brakes
Really want the F1 rim
Could ideally do with PS3/PC/360 compatibility

Now if there was a way to allow me to use my Pedals on the T500 then that could possibly swing it for me.

I Know there is a mod available that adds Load Cell Braking to the T500 pedals but its pretty pricey and seldom available.

The other alternative is to wait and see if Fanatec actually release the F1 rim for the CSR Elite wheel they announced last year.

You could try the T500 pedals with skateboard bushings. A lot of us like the feel of that.
