Penalties?!?

Just took a shot at Sarthe in one of the Seasonal events (can't remember which one). I BARELY clipped a corner and got hit with a penalty. Who had the bright idea to do this?!? I ran a second time and got a penalty when I overbraked and ran off the end of the track. How does that make any sense?!?

It is good because it forces you to try and become an overall better driver.

They're a good thing in terms of forcing you to drive clean lines, etc. However, I agree, in places on La Sarthe, PD's limits are ridiculous. And then they sanction RADICAL chicane-cutting in a TT!? Crazy!
