Okay, on to business. Let me tell you something. Have you read my "A Reminder as to Why I Do Not Bash Japanese Cars" thread? In this, I made my points about American drivers with American cars who belittle the Japanese machinery. I made points such as "just because it's made in America doesn't mean it's the best." So what does this mean for you as I am getting ready to put up a racing demo of Pro-League race for the All-Japan GT Championship Race at Tokyo R246 on my PS2 for GT3? While I look at the beautiful Raybrig NSX tear up the streets of Tokyo, I cannot believe that people would belittle your driving of a Camaro. While owning an American pony car, a certain pedigree kind of comes with it. You kind of carry an image that you are a performance-bound driver. Now with the "white boi (boy)" reference, you have to tell me where that came from. I don't know if they were referring to a Sunday driver in a Formula One race car, or whatever they mean, but I think you are obligated to drive your car no matter how you wish. Let them say what they want, but if you know you are not driving in a way that endangers the lives of others or yourself, there is no real reason for some other person to judge another person's driving style. It's like telling a girl to wear jeans and sneakers if she likes skirts and sandals- it is the destroying of what someone likes to present themselves to the world. No one person can, in this case, tell anyone how to drive, what car to drive, what music to listen to, how to have fun, etc. It's a great shame.
So you have a Camaro. I'm going to joke with you a little bit, but you can say something like (if you're brave), "I may drive like a wimp on the road, but I'm no wimp on the track!" Or of course, you can talk with me, because I'm can be the king of foulmouth and bird-flipping.
Anyone can drive their car any way they want because it is a personal freedom. Everyone is different. I don't care if I was 55 years old with a Ferrari Enzo as a daily driver. If I drive like I was on a 20 mph-fast go-kart, then so be it. I'm not changing my driving habits (remember folks, I'm 21 and haven't gone for a driving license. This is only a scenario) because some opinionated bastard wants me to drive different. So what? If I drove a Toyota Bb/Scion Xb, I'm supposed to drive like I'm an illegal street racer or like in Initial D? And I'm an African-American, so don't say I'm driving like a "white boy." So if people want to make fun of your driving from whatever car they ride in, I will close this reply with this message you can use against such people.
"You and your car can go to Hell!" How did I do? Have I proven myself as a knight for saving Princess McLaren?
