I have had the most trouble the past three weeks with GT5 online. I either have disconnecting problems or people get the white bar and I can't see them. Is there any way to fix this issue, and I have one more quick question. My brother broke the ping connecter for his pedals for his DFGT. Is there anyway to order just the pedals as we can't find any connecters with the right prongs. thanks alot!
 
I had the same problem. If I unplug my ethernet cable from ps3 and plug it back in then start the game works great. Not sure why but its been working for me for 2 days now. Hope it helps.

Have you tried clearing the Cache in the Options menu? I do it daily and haven't had a connection issue at all.
 
yea sometimes it makes it worse because I get disconnected intead of not loading people but I will try to do it every day, thanks
 
Yeah clearing the cache after getting disconnects etc may help, it does for me.

You can re initialize your PS3 internet connection by going into Settings and doing an Internet Connection Test.
 
For 3 months I've had the same problem...I tried all the possible settings but the problem didn't resolve...so the last chance is to get a new modem router...now it work perfectly! =)
