Demo's been on the PSN since thursday, and i've got to say, the king is back.

Gameplay speed massivley changed from the rubbish that was 08/09 alot slower and more sim like, the graphics are stunning, beautiful especially compared to the jaggies in FIFA10.

Unfortunately response time is killing the demo from my point of view (plus shooting from long range seems "scripted" somehow)..but still looking forward to PES 2010 , FIFA ain't got "ish" on PES ;)

Last years PES 08 and 09 were far to arcadey, this PES is back to it's more sim roots, play the demo's side by side you can see how Fifa is the arcade game this year..

The response time is alot better and un-noticeable when you play at 720P aswell btw

well you know that you can not play PES 2010 at any other HD resolution then 720p (the game doesn't recognize 1080p or 1080i for that matter and automatically downscales to lower possible resolution) ? so I understand you are referring to SD resolution? sorry but SD is not acceptable for me , it is not 1999 we are talking about here ;) .. I just hope they'll fix it in full release because the graphics are really well done (minus the weird "UFO like" white glow near the penalty spot) ..

No, theres a difference between 1080i and 720P which i was referring to, it's the process of downscaling or another matter but the game does play differently, i'd never advocate playing it at SD EVER

sorry mate but you are wrong, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 doesn't play in any other HD resolution than 720p , you can test it easily , just "untick" 720p display option and you'll see by yourself..

There can be no difference because you can't play PES 2010 on any higher resolution than 720p!

Ok , make a youtube clip of the game when you go to display settings in XMB and "uncheck" 720p option leaving 1080p and/or 1080i options "checked" and then make another clip with 720p option "checked" and show me the difference..
Because I can assure you in first instance you 'll see fugly SD picture because your PS3 will display the game in SD and in second one you'll see normal HD picture..

Just try it..
 
The only thing is that playing on a 1080 screen gives you jaggies like hell. I think it's a lot better in 2010 but 2009 was terrible.

This game is great, btw.
 
One thing we can all agree on then, the new gameplay speed makes the game amazing to play
 
I'm planning on getting it in a bundle on the weekend before my Bday (9th November). Will you go online? I want to know what the online is like cause apparently 09 was a bit jerky sometimes.
My birthday cant come quick enough!!!
 
the main thing they fixed is the online, loads of prelim tests and the word is that online is perfect this year
 
It's on pre-order, but for my PC, as it's cheaper, and looks damn tasty too. Thoroughly enjoying it so far.

Quality. That means if I persuade my tennis coach to get it I can gun him down online instead of waiting for the weekends :D
 
Buuuuuuuuuump! Anyone here got it? I like it a lot especially the new master league.
Im up for some online play sometime ;)
 
I have PES2010, I think it's great.

I'm enjoying the master league at the mo...when I first started playing I was mainly online, but now online frustrates me with the teams you play against and the response times occasionally so I stick to offline against mates or master league :)
 
I got it on Friday - halfway through my first season of master league - although no-one wants to sign for me!!!

Destroying all and sundry on "Regular" - Rooney has almost 40 goals and I've only played about 15 games!!
