I really hate people who show disdain for learning or literature. Personally, I love to read, but today, we had to read "The Raven" for an assignment in class, and one of my friends repeatedly called it "stupid", among other things, just because he didn't understand it. I've heard other people say similar things at my school, and it just ticks me off.
 
Yah, I hate that too. People who don't understand something and then make ignorant blatant comments based on their own ignorant blatant opinion. Even my gramma thought that there was 1 bomb dropped on Japan in the 40's and she lived through that for cripes sakes.

"No there wasn't."
"Yes there was, one in Nagasaki and one in Hiroshima."
"No there was not, I lived through that era!"
