Lol what about only hunting games. Literally the only purpose is shoot animals for sports. The characters don't eat them or anything just pure sport hunting.
That was my first thought when I read this thread. RDR let you kill and skin every animal you came across, I don't remember Peta making a fuss about that.
PETA just don't make any sense to me, they complain about animals being killed in games yet instead of giving away the animals they impound most of the time they kill them, what sense does that make exactly? I've never understood that.

Jesus did not say wood before their eyes, get rid of your brother's eye the first division. This alarming rate of killing animals in PETA's care just goes to show that they care about is the freedom agenda.
What with the whole wanton destruction of property, gambling, cheating, the sexual innuendo of sliding in and out of slippery pipes and jumping on giant walking peni- mushrooms and taking 'shrooms and other strange plant-derived substances and (literally) getting high off of them... yes Mario is much worse than Grand Theft Auto.
I still can't help but chuckle every time I read about this "issue". I wonder if PETA has ever heard of people called "furries"...
Not to mention that the suit was actually made for Mario by the taylor Tanooki, so PETA should stake their protest against the tailor. Mario is just an unnasuming victim
