WHY do you think 'certain' european supercar companies won't let PD include their cars in the game?
i think that KY tried and gave it up already so it's up to us players to do something. what about a petition? maybe we should tell these companies how much would we like to see their cars in Gran Turismo 5...

oh, yes, and something else....besides AI and damage, the biggest (and unforgiveable) downfall is only 5 COM cars... i mean, EVERY other game has at least 10-15 cars, some even 40! can you imagine? racing with 40 cars on some wide circuit... and, where are Red Rock Valley, Complex String, Grindelwald,...

and what about LOTUS ELISE GT1????...it suddenly dissappeared since GT2!!
hope it makes a comeback with the road version!!

it was a very nice car in GT2.hard to drive but awesome sound and design!!!
plzzzz PD THE ELISE GT1!!!!!

I remember this beast. Extremely fun to drive, lower the ride height drive over a curb or bump at Red Rock or Seattle and would spin on a dime literally! Love to see that in the next gen GT game. 👍 👍

Hi and welcome to GTPlanet Inasphinx.
Like stumpydino said, they propably won't change their minds because of some kids. And I thought EA had the rights/license/deal to use Ferraris etc. in its games.

And please tell me a PS2 game with 40 cars racing at the same time. I know GTR on pc can do this but I've never seen this much cars on PS2. And we must face the fact that PS2 is relatively old piece of hardware. With those physics and graphics, It's not propably possible to have any more cars. GT3 for example had only four cars running in the wet tracks 'cause (correct me if I'm wrong) PS2 couldn't deal with 6 cars.

But I'm not disappointed because of the fact not having the three big Europeans in game because we have so many alternatives like Pagani and The Cizeta Moroder

These sorts of petitions are stupid. they'll get you no where and are a waste of time.

If a company doesn't want their product in so game, for whatever reason, thats their choice. And like they probably care anyway, because I highly doubt you have the cash to buy one of their cars, so its not like their loosing you as a customer....

Well said. Most pointless thread. Evar.

yeah, but then in GT5 will also be 'only' 6 cars, beacuse the game will push PS3 to its limits..... i don't know, but they should try to include at least 9 COM cars next time....

and please don't say PS2 is old, it makes me sad.... :)

No company has ever paid even the slightest attention to an online petition. Ever. As Jamie said, they're an utter waste of time for the people involved and they solve absolutely nothing.

I'm sure PD has a very good reason for not including the cars. It's just the likes of us are not permitted to know it. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but companies usually don't make public the inner workings of their dealings with other companies. PD is no different. Get used to it.

'nuff said!

PD should do a lot of things, but do you think they'll do everything? I don't. They've got enough things I'm sure people are complaining about (physical damage, etc.) that they have to put in GT5. If you want a game with 10 opponents or however many Ferrari's or whatever, make it yourself and then tell us how awesome it is. Until you can do that, don't bother trying to tell PD what to do.
