Petro-Canada has just announced a new plan to build a nearly nationwide network of EV chargers. Construction is set to start this spring.

The network of fast-charging stations will start with more than 50 EV stations located from Nova Scotia to BC. The chargers will be built at existing Petro-Canada filling stations along the Trans-Canada Highway. Construction of the network is set to start this spring with the sites opening over the next year., though Petro-Canada hasn't revealed the list of locations yet. The first, a test site located in Milton, ON, is already open.

Not sure where to post this since it's been a while, but pretty interesting news to me. Hopefully they do expand it beyond the Trans Canada Highway, having been looking at electric or PHEV vehicles lately and the biggest obstacle has been the lack of charging stations in Edmonton. Went on the site (which I can't recall at the moment) which lists charging stations, what type, limitations, etc.

Lots of "don't work" reviews, a few Tesla only ones, the ones at the Chevrolet dealers are apparently in the bays themselves so...
