Peugeot 304 Cabriolet S, 1972

Pininfarina styled the original 304 and continued the styling through to the cabriolet. The cabriolet featured only 2 seats, unlike the more practical coupe. This version is also the only version of the 304 that exists in any significant numbers in the UK today, as most saloons imported were destroyed by corrosion. Just under 19,000 cabriolets were produced from 1970-1975, of which 836 were produced in right hand drive and imported into the UK.

There were two different engine configurations available in the 304, a 65hp (48kw) 1288cc engine produced from 1970 to 1973 in the standard and the 304 S which had a 74hp (55kw) 1288cc engine produced from 1972 to 1975.
