In 2004, Peugeot Sport announced a new WR car based on 307CC, the roof of which was welded. This car occasionally proved its potential, but most of the time it had troubles, especially with its gearbox, even after it was replaced with the 5-speed one. Even one of the drivers Marcus Grönholm uttered, "I am fed up with this car" at Rally d'Italia Sardinia. This car has 2 liveries, the one with Marlboro and the one with white blanks.
