Why does the Peugeot 908 HDI never appear as a CPU competitor ?
Is there a specific reason for it ?

I've raced at almost any competition, apart from the 24hours of Nur, without ever seeing a Peugeot 908 between the competitors (except from mine obviously!). That's sad.

I raced against one the other day in the "like the wind" championship, the only time I ever have though!

Really ? Wow... that's already something!

I will try Arcade mode; but i'm still curious to know why it never (almost never) appears in gt mode. Maybe Peugeot has asked for it ?

Maybe there is a PP Limit on most A-Spec Races and the Peugeot exceeds the limit therefore PD wouldn't of been included in that specific race.
I don't know the exact PP of the car has but I'm sure it has one of the highest in the game.
Maybe that could be the reason?

I will check tomorrow and let you know, but if I remember correctly, cars such as toyota minolta or sauber c9 have more PP than the peugeot, and join the race, so...

True! And audi made an incredible 1-2-3 if I'm correct!
But this year, with the exception of le mans, peugeot has beaten audi at almost every race...

Peugeot have had a very similar car to Audi this year, but Audi have made too many mistakes on track. Obviously poor visibility in the R18! :(

I think I read in Autosport the other day that including the Oreca Peugeot's victories that apart from Le Mans, Audi hadn't won a race since Sebring 2009!

correct, Peugeot lost the most important race, but won all the others.
I'm looking forward to seeing the new Toyota LMP1 next year

As I recall, the cars listed in the possible opponents list are the only ones that appear in this particular event, and you may well have it confused with the 905.

Yes, I'm yet to find the 908 as an opponent in rivalries as far as I explored to have a try at several competitions. The only event that involved the 908 as one of the comparable machines is(are) the arcades in entry with a group C-car.

No, the 908 doesn't make entrance at the competition as the rival cars' list shows, it's a Peugeot 905 which is an older model of the 908. The names of cars due to participate in one race can't be omitted unless the number of participants is way too high.

And even poorer visibility for anyone unfortunate enough to have an R18 behind them at night. Those lights are an abomination and show pure contempt for the other classes of cars.

That is interesting about the 908 in GT5, I wasn't aware. Once again, great job PD. All that variety and attention to minute detail... now lets make another series with a 1 lap race around the Nordschleife and 5 laps of Tokyo against some mid-grade sedans, maybe a WRX and a GT-R... and 1 race car for the hell of it.

I thought there was a yellow one on the track during the virtual 24 hours in Le Mans, hm.

Is there a way to inform PD about it ?
I've read that they'are aware of all user's requests, and that they've fixed most of GT5 issues thanks to our suggestions.
At least we can expect an explanation from them.

(I hope my english was clear enough, sorry for any mistakes)
