I decided that I wanted to save up the money for a really good LM car to use in online and whatnot. I got 4m now, because I was initially going to get the 908, but now I'm not so sure. Are either of these cars worth the money? I know most people would say save up for a FGT, but I've only seen it in the used dealer once before and it was long before I had the level (or money) to buy it.

I enjoy the R10 but it's a personal preference thing. I root for Audi in the P1 class so thats why bought it.

To be honest, the only reason I was going to buy the 908 is because it's 750,000 cheaper, but once I started grinding races that amount of money is nothing.

Thats a good way to look at it, if you want to grind for the 908 now it's only another 4 mil credits :D

I've got Both and I Prefer the 908 simply because the Audi Exhaust note does my head in :grumpy:

Which is a BIG consideration to me know i'm doing Endurance Races

Ah I see that being annoying in those circumstances. I'll probably never bother doing Endurance Races.. at least not until PD patches in saves while in the race.

The r10 is a very difficult car to drive especially on a bump even if you don't overstep it up.

You overstep the throttle up even slightly your done
It's always going to need traction control because if not your never going to do an endurance race with no mistakes

You can't countersteer full throttle slides either

Throttle countersteering won't save you from slides on that car

It's a very different race car compared to the others

And ofcourse the real Le mans 24 hour races in real life

They do have all kinds of aids that can be set by the driver on cockpit

But Audi R10 TDI won it so it's one of the best

Diesel engine but more torque and efficient but less power but has turbo

I love the AudiR10 used it all the time in GT4. So I'm pretty biased because as a previous poster said I always cheer for Audi in the P1 class.

I bought the 908 because it's the best bang for the buck. You get more power for less money. I am aiming to get both eventually though after I get the FGT.

I love the 908, it drives great and looks good as well, I am tempted to get a 787b, but I have enough for a GT now so I think I will play the waiting game for a while and see if it comes up.
