Welcome to Phoenix Speed Delivery. We're based in SoCal, near our home track of El Capitan, or The Cap, as we call it.
I and my partner Polaris are letting out a series of our american street cars for your competing pleasure. Feel free to look, grab a car and take her for a spin, report back your findings in the our Reviews thread, not in here please, we'd like to keep it organized to just tunes in this thread. if a review of a car proves particularly well written, I'll add it to that cars original post, so write well! PM me for tune requests, a review of a car will definately get you a quicker response!

Some things you should know before using our tunes:
1)All cars unless otherwise noted, are FULL power, with all parts(wing oil change etc;) fitted and on S3 tires.
2)You ought to know how to set up a gear box by now, auto first, final, then individual gears.
3)These cars were made by two advanced drivers, meaning a sensitive touch on throttle and brakes is commonly necessary, in the reviews thread, don't flame our cars if you can't drive them, but DO explain fully your feelings
on the car.

you will notice a "spec" as well, this is a general explanation of the car, G Spec is a grip car, D Spec is drift. anything alse will be explained in the cars post as i see fit.

Viper RT/10: Venom G Spec

Suspension:Left is front, Right is rear, F/R. Excluding shocks.

Springs:F9.5/R10, Ride height:94/94, Shocks:F(3/5),R(4/5)
Camber:2.5/1.8, Toe:1/-1, Sway's:4/4

Differential:IT:20/ACC:35/DEC:35

Downforce:30/30

N20:50 shot

Brake Controller:9/7

Transmission:
1:2.8,2:1.8,3:1.36,4:1.06,5:.85,6:.70 F=2.93 Auto=20

Notes:Stage 2 N/A, full race exhaust.

The Venom, Descended from the oldest american supercars, the Shelby Cobra. Our Venom Viper is a close match to our fastest skyline, and faster then it on The Cap! For the person who doesn't want to go the travelled japanese route to street domination, this viper is the alternative and a fine one. Dominates on mid to long courses with better tire wear then most Skyline's, and if you aren't keeping up in the straights, smack that 50 shot of giggle juice and hold on!!

Viper GTSR Concept: Competition Coupe, G Spec

Springs:F14/R12.5, Ride height:72/72, Shocks:F(5/4),R(8/7)
Camber:2.3/1.3, Toe:1/-1, Sway's:5/4

Differential:IT:18/ACC:40/DEC:40

Downforce:30/40

N20: 40 shot

Brake Controller:6/3

Transmission:
1:3.57,2:2.25,3:1.66,4:1.28,5:1.02,6:.82 F=3.07 Auto=20

Notes:N/A stage2

The Viper Competition Coupe, the steroid injected twin to the Venom Viper. This car is very similar to the Venom except it loses a bit of straight line power, but is better at turning(less understeer) and getting out of the hole. Launches harder, turns sharper, and also has the most pleasent power oversteer in 1st and 2nd gear. I can honestly say i've never geared a car better. Ought to be more then a match for a full power skyline on technical courses where the ol' R series cars oversteer often gets the best of their power and traction. Can't quite make that low speed hair pin? Nail the throttle then let off, we got rear steer too!

Chrysler Crossfire G Spec

Springs:F8.0/R6.5, Ride height:98/90, Shocks:F(4/5),R(4/5)
Camber:2.2/1, Toe:1/0, Sway's:4/4

Differential:IT:15/ACC:35/DEC:20

Downforce:18/15

N20:60 shot

Brake Controller:7/4

Transmission:
1:2.68,2:1.79,3:1.35,4:1.08,5:.88,6:.75 F=4.225 Auto:15

Notes: none

A Fun drive, for 410 hp this car goes! Carries speed through turns well, brakes well, accelerates great, lays down the laps of a more powerful car. might not have the flair of the Vipers, but is definatly worth a try. If you raise your nose at this mopar, think again! A great technique for this car is a drift manuever called the feint, as you come into a turn, steer away from the apex, then as the cars weight shifts in, steer back towards the apex to induce oversteer. Try it this car is a great teacher and won't bite your head off most of the time.

Supra RZ: Headhunter super D Spec

Springs:F10/R9.2, Ride height:99/94, Shocks:F(3/5),R(3/4)
Camber:2.5/,.5 Toe:1/-1, Sway's:4/3

Differential:IT:25/ACC:40/DEC:25

Downforce:20/30

N20:30 shot

Brake Controller:7/5

Transmission:
1:1.6,2:1.07,3:.79,4:.6,5:.47,6:.37 F=3.93 Auto=25

Notes:Stage 4 turbo not the original turbo kit.

Not American made, but sold here at least. This car is for serious and advanced drift drivers only, but will establish and maintain serious angle. As soon as i get my photo upload going on i'll post some pics of me getting VEERY slideways on The Cap at high speeds. The other strength of this car is straight line, due to it's beautifull powercurve, this car can out accelerate a viper in a straight line, at least to about 210 mph. I tamed this car quite a bit and the gearing is extreme yet nothing seems to get the idea of traction through the 2 jz engines' head! keep the right thumb light till 100 mph then hammer down, best of luck and wear your seat belt! i really prefer my FD or Skyline to this car for speed, but for drift this car is soooo crazy..

thats it for today, i hope to have both photo's, as well as a bit more interesting main page by next week. loke for more cars in the near future, at least six more are in the works to knock your socks off. thanks for checking out my garage thus far and hope to see you all soon!

Let's see..
-5 posts in row.. check.
-not very detailed gearbox settings.. check.
-no "parts to buy list".. check.
-2 threads for one and same thing.. check.

I have to admit, this doesn't look very promising.:indiff:

People will be slightly disappointed to your settings, if you don't pay attention to slightest details, such as the COMPLETE gearbox settings. Pro's might manage to get the best out of them by their experience, but what about newbies? And why on earth two threads? As You might have seen in MFT, reviews and settings post will do just fine within one thread. It's far easier to manage one thread than juggling with multiple ones.

only positive thing I have to say this far is the car descriptions. Keep it up, and if you pay attention to these things that I pointed out, you might very well end up being a competitor to Mad FinnTuners Co.👍

my dear finished, err finish is it? friend,

if you read the very first post, everything you just vomited into my thread is explained 💡 a slightly abbreviated version:

Feel free to look, grab a car and take her for a spin, report back your findings in the our Reviews thread, not in here please, we'd like to keep it organized to just tunes in this thread. if a review of a car proves particularly well written, I'll add it to that cars original post, so write well! perhaps next time mind your own business, or just read the first post first.

the reason for two post is because i just can't work the internet as well as you two f*ers (finlanders? finians? what are you people called anyways?). i can't link to my own stuff so i wanted to keep it neat and organized with the reviews in a seperate thread so that you don't have to scroll through hopefully several pages of posts to find the tune you're looking for. satisfied? now i hope a moderator will remove your garbage from my garage. have a nice day.

I have merged your first SIX posts. Please do not make multiple posts, when there is a perfectly usable "Edit" button to insert new information in old posts.

I'll advise you boys on both sides of this fence to play nice.

However, if you don't want feedback, don't post things in the internet.

my dear finished, err finish is it? friend

It's Finnish, thank you very much. Next time pay more attention during geography lessons, maybe you'll find out where Finland is.💡

First off, that kind of things are easy to miss, especially when whole text is in one big lump like that. And you don't need to give me that kind of response, when I was just offering some friendly advices from more experienced forum users point of view.

the reason for two post is because i just can't work the internet as well as you two f*ers (finlanders? finians? what are you people called anyways?). i can't link to my own stuff so i wanted to keep it neat and organized with the reviews in a seperate thread so that you don't have to scroll through hopefully several pages of posts to find the tune you're looking for. satisfied?

No, I am not. Instead of getting all worked up and aggressive, you could had asked for advice. I could had helped you too, but since your attitude is something else than polite and cooperative, I'll let you find it out on your own.

now i hope a moderator will remove your garbage from my garage. have a nice day.

I love you too, have a good day.

I'll back off from this thread, as requested.

hey mod, wtf buddy? they aren't being merged with their 20 bloody pages of cars? what's with this micromanagement of my stuff?
and i don't care what they're called or what their attitudes are, i have respect for their tuning ability but basically the first thing they said to me was that i couldn't hack it, with no provocation, nor did i ASK them for their opinion, i'm the one who is rightfully pissed off!
and then a mod hopped on and threw a bunch of previously unenforced rules at me. i'm going to go higher in the chain and figure out what this is about, i'm not the one in the wrong here.

if you truly meant to help, perhaps a private message was in order instead of your patronizing double talk. easy to miss? you missed it? it's the first bloody page!
as far as geography, who the hell cares where finland is? i'm sorry geography was a few years ago for me, graduated middleschool, and highschool for that matter and in college they only teach you things that matter today, sorry.

The rules are always enforced. Not to mention the fact that "a mod hopped on" because you reported a post in it - making a demand at the time.

You are, of course, welcome to go "higher in the chain", but, for your reference, all moderating decisions are totally transparent amongst staff, all moderators get all post reports and Duke, who has posted in this thread, is the joint-second-highest person on this site. I have left your PM request for him to consider.

Edit: And I've merged that double-post also. Please us the Edit button in future, as I have already requested.

i apologize for the double post but im replying as i see the posts coming in, see? i see one, i reply, four more are there when i'm done. not my fault people are replying while i post.

if you want to merge all my tunes onto one page fine, but merge everyone else's as well, i.e. don't pick on my garage and not the finns! they have a mainpage with graphics, as well as a page for every car that includes atleast three pictures! why is that allowed but seperate posts of my own tunes are not! i'm not saying it shouldn't be allowed but why am i getting singled out just because i put an effort forward to contribute many tunes my first day!

as i have explained multiple times, my setup was different. i cannot link to my own pages, just don't know how to do it, therefore other posts in between my own makes it very difficult for other browsing my car library to find things since there isn't a conveniant link to whatever they are looking for. if i could do it their way i would but it's not within my abilities at the present time. HENCE my now closed reviews thread, didn't realize it was such a bloddy big deal!

and as far as multiple posts, i'm no stranger to internet forums, however i had five tunes to post today for the "opening day", what was i supposed to do when i had planned on expanding my original posts with pics as soon as i get my thumbdrive back?

i'm STILL trying to get this working, talking to three different mods, we'll see what shapes up.

exactly, have no clue how you did that. if i had known how to do that, orr that this was going to be such a PITA i would have found out how to do it that way. i''m still mad that he merged all my posts, but how do you do that?

See next to the red tick on all posts, where it says "Post #" and a number?

Right click the number. Click on Copy Link Location.

Then paste that link between URL tags, like this:

It's far better to learn - and show a willingness to - than to say "I can't do it" and not even try.

If i had known. this still leaves a heaping mess in my garage. now i see no reason that just because i posted five tunes seperately they all have to share the same page. please un merge them, and i'll add links to the main page.
In effect what you're telling me is that i have to wait for a review of my first car before i can post another if i'm to do it in two seperate pages.
just so that i can keep seperate links to each car, would you un do your merging. and then one final favor, delete all my crap, and everyone else's crap that has nothing to do with the garage or tuning so that i can have a proper space. is that all fair and well??

Rockit
this still leaves a heaping mess in my garage
And whose fault is that? It was five posts more of a 'heaping mess' before the moderating staff you were so quick to question intervened.
Rockit
is that all fair and well??
No, because it would remove evidence of your bad attitude, insults, and unwillingness to co-operate with moderating staff. You are not here by God-given right, these forums are a service granted to you by Jordan, and it is up to Jordan how they are maintained and operated.

However, this does not mean to say that moderators are in any way unjust to members. As Famine has pointed out to you already, every single moderating decision is (as far as I know) entirely open for review and debate amongst the entire staff. These forums have been operated almost flawlessly for years, which means that the staff are extremely experienced and know how to deal with just about any situation that may arise.

Posting half a dozen times in a row for no good reason is something that isn't tolerated here, and so your posts have been merged. The only reason you (claim you) made these posts is because you didn't know how to do something and couldn't be bothered to find out. This leaves you very little room for argument, but nevertheless I shall give my personal answer (which may not reflect those of GTP staff, as I don't number among them) to another point you've raised:
Rockit
In effect what you're telling me is that i have to wait for a review of my first car before i can post another if i'm to do it in two seperate pages.
If by 'page' you mean 'post', then effectively yes. This is because, if you don't receive any replies to your first setup, you have no interest rating on the board and there is no need for the thread to continue. This makes it useless, and that renders the repeated, consecutive posting in it spam, which is not permitted. Had you left the one or two setups for review, and received replies, you would be able to move the setups to different posts later, if you really wanted to do so.

What I've tried to do is explain to you why your method of posting has been classed as spam, and trimmed appropriately.

Oh, and by the way:
Acceptable Use Policy
No slang words that promote laziness, ie; "r", "u", "plz", etc. will be tolerated. Decent grammar is expected, including proper usage of capital letters. Repeated violations will be grounds for suspension and/or permanent removal from the forums.
If this is deemed inappropriate for me to post, please delete it or let me know via PM.

This is a car forum and members here are ususally interested in motor racing of some description.

Now, pop quiz hotshot. What country comes out best if you take the total number of F1 & WRC driver's championships won by drivers from that country and divide by head of population?

I'll give you a clue, it starts with an F...

i've allready been warned and i've allready stopped pushing the issue, i've agreed to abide by the terms however i made the request to unmerge my posts so i can do it again, correctly now that i "bothered" to know.
pop quiz, when all i'm asking to do is fix whats wrong, in exchange for a moderator fixing whats wrong. When i've repented, apologized several times, and asked for peacful impartial third party opinions,(of mods, which you would allready know about right?). When i've done what i can to make everything right, where does that leave a hole for you to come in goad me further? What kind of staffer are you? The situation is nearly resolved and here i am getting worked up again, not because of your pointless and unrelated post, but because you are MODERATOR and you are posting a useless and unrelated question aimed at shaming me.

In the 'lil world that is this thread, in a 'lil game where world drivers mean nothing, what could your post have possibly done, other then fire me up again?

now would someone please just either lock or delete this post, or clean it up at least so that the original spirit of it can continue?

Oof.

Rockit, one must show respect before they are shown respect.

I do not see respect coming from you. Calling the Finns F*ers was the last straw for me. Why? Well, aren't they the first to open a tuning shop? Aren't you following in their footsteps, or at least trying to?

Daan wasn't attempting to piss you off. That much I know.

Well, Dave, shape up and try to right yourself. Otherwise, I know for sure that this will get padlocked and burned quickly, along with you.

-Kyle

okay taking a bit of mod duty upon myself.

We're going to do this again, everyone who reads it comes into the situation fresh and stirs it all up again, and comes down on me, no one said a damn thing about the finn that came in here to patronize me, read that first reply again, that wouldn't piss you off if you just put a couple of days of tuning prep and typing into something and have someone baselesly bash it? I allready dealt with the finns, sent them a PM (something no one does on here) requesting that in the future, any issue they have with PSD be handled on a pm basis, i mean if i had stepped in to their thread and said they weren't doin it right, i would have got flamed. Hell i did anyways. anything about the finns, leave it between the finns and me, just drop it it was done hours ago, probably over a day by the time someone else reads this.

Now i have an issue with the way the whole thing was handled but that's a personal issue, so i'm not going to blurt it out in here, any one that needs to hear about it will. as for the garage i'm up in the air about what to do with it. I'm afraid to start a fresh page cause i'm sure it will either be locked since i allready have this great one, or i'll get a flood of eith attaboy's or "now watch your behaviour" crap. I need an answer from a mod as to whether i can start a fresh page, or i this on can be cleaned up.. if either of those conditions are met i'll keep on releasing tunes. not that any one wants to, but that's just all there is to it.

Unmerging isn't possible - at least not from someone so low in the chain as me.

Though I'm struggling to see the difference between having five "great tunes" posted in full in the first post (with some pictures once you get your thumbdrive) and having five "great tunes" linked from the first post but posted in the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth post - except that the first way looks neat and explosive ("Here I am! Here's my tunes! BAM!") and the second looks messy and postwhoreish.

However, If you want this thread locked so you can start a new one, you only have to ask (but not me - I'm not high enough in the chain).

I'd ask you to remember one thing though:

Rockit
read that first reply again, that wouldn't piss you off if you just put a couple of days of tuning prep and typing into something and have someone baselesly bash it

Duke
if you don't want feedback, don't post things in the internet.

Right. i'm gathering more resources for a second "opening".
I agree with duke and his concise post. I honestly shouldn't have gotten so angry, it's obvious in retrospect that leonidea just scrolled through the intro, read a few of my tunes, then proceeded to tell me that I hadn't explained (except for where he scrolled past) things in quite the detail that madfinns would have. I ought to be honered that the dominant garage saw fit to constructively criticize, even if it was baseless.

Hope to see at least one person review one of the tunes allready posted, i'm going to shoot for the thread being locked and try this all again soon as i get some more help aboard

Actually, Leo told you what needs to be improved, and actually commented on how you could become a competitor to MFT!

It wasn't baseless flaming, it was constructive criticism.

Oh well, you've shown your hand. And it is not a good one. Why? Well, you disrespect anyone and everyone that thinks differently than you. You bashed the mods for pointing out your disrespect.

Why would I respect someone that shows no one respect?

-Kyle

i share the sentiment junkie

thanks to perfect balance, all i'm pushin for is a clean start, i mean really who wants to come in here, sticking me with this is a death sentence to the whole concept.

Truthfully, I must say this: The damage is done. A second attempt to save face will fool no one.

Many have seen your disrespect, my friend.

But let me get this straight: You really expect me to show you respect before you show it yourself? Wow. You're right, I am not showing you respect. Because I respect not the disrespectful.

Remember the Mugen Civic thread? People gave you plenty of respect after that.

Only a couple people in gtp have even looked at this thread. Delete it, and forget about it. He might have to earn your respect back, but I don't think he could care less about your respect.

EDIT: And you never actually backed down, this guys has multiple posts taking back what he said and asking for a fresh start. Not even a fresh start really, just for someone to close this thread.

Yes, I remember the M00G1N thread.

Please note that while he has asked for a fresh start, he has only half apologized. In fact, the first request he made for a fresh start CONTINUED to bash Leo. He sort of took back the accusations but did *does* not feel that an apology is needed.

Lead Boy, err, Perfect Balance, you are the only one to hold a grudge against me for the Mugen Civic thread. I know that I didn't back down. I still haven't. FF<FAWD/RR<MAWD/RAWD/FR<MR, and that is my opinion.

Personally, I think that he could care less about anyone's respect. I've seen him be respectful ONCE since he started this thread and got chewed up.

Yes, closing this thread would help him, but, as was said, it would only mask his un-cooperativeness towards moderation staff and general disrespect.

Hell, I should have closed my thread down the instant you posted, as all you did was degrade me. Hmm... Maybe I ought to go GT Premium, change my username, and hope everyone forgets about me.

Just because this thread disappears or gets locked then replaced doesn't mean that people won't notice.

Should I follow your footsteps, PB? Start bashing Rockit whenever possible?

Or do you do that to everyone?

Oh, and he had my respect. Back when all he had was a thread named "New Tuner" and explained that he was tuning for sports tires only with no aids.

If, and big IF, he begins to show respect to everyone, maybe he'll deserve the second chance.

But, (Since you'll go off on me otherwise) this is just my opinion. No more or less. Heck, if I'm not stating facts, it's my opinion. Sooo... Take it or leave it.

Hope to see at least one person review one of the tunes allready posted, i'm going to shoot for the thread being locked and try this all again soon as i get some more help aboard

As the OP has asked for this thread to be locked, consider it done.

I look forward to seeing the new tuning thread and would like to point out to ALL, that I do not expect to see the 'he said, no he said, no you said it first' discussions and bickering continue in that new thread.

Take this on board if any of you do I will give you a present, of the infraction kind.

A clean start has been asked for and its more than a lot of members would do, however use that clean start and new thread wisely.

Regards

Scaff
