Photo Mode Updated with 1.15?

1.15 Undocumented Changes thread was locked, hence me creating this one.

So today went into Photo Travel to take some pictures and as soon as I hit the X button to take the picture, it came up with a menu processing the picture. I thought "eh, this is different" and wandered why the picture was taking so much longer. A quick look at my photo list reveals something quite different:

I always take my pictures in 16:9 format and all my previous pre 1.15 pictures were roughly 400-500kb and 1920x1080 in size. Since the update, these pictures have doubled - they are now 3840x2160 and 1MB per picture, whilst still in 16:9! So the pictures in Photo Mode, at least in this format are of a much higher resolution than before.

~EDIT Corrected by @LancerEvo7 that it is down to magnification size, must have triggered something, delete topic mods~

You probably put magnification to 2x... it creates a larger image and thus takes a longer time to "process".

This is predated to GT5.
