I love photography in real life but I have a crappy camera. I just do it as a hobby.

This is probably my only action shot that didn't out blurry (except for the guy standing there)

And of course my night shots are crap quality :(

Night shots are always gonna have crappy quality cause of ISO and noise. The only way to combat it is a tripod and a longer shutter speed with a lower ISO, but that is a really nice shot.

I'm a professional photographer... I've been Director of Photography for SpeedLounge.com for 6 years now.... I've shot Formula D, D1 GP, ALMS, Rolex Grand Am, NHRA Sport Compact Drag Racing, NOPI Drift, NOPI Drag, and AMA Motorcycle racing. My work has been featured in Modified, Import Tuner, Super Street, Performance Auto and Sound, and National Dragster.

just a few of my shots...

Yeah I just have a basic point and shoot digital camera, it'll be a while before I consider buying a nicer one (college :grumpy:) but thanks for the feedback.

Point and shoots have a Manual mode with shutter speeds and stuff, but i could never get mine to work.

I don't think mine has that either, just white balance/exposure options. I enjoy photography too much to keep having shots ruined by this thing haha :sly:

is it just me or is the driver really really short

Could be the heinous work of bucket seats.

I'm a hobbyist photographer, mostly scenery/still life stuff photography though, and not a very good one at that :p

EDIT: Some cracking photos in here already, by the way. Keep them coming!

2 Best pictures i've ever taken.
Keep in mind i've only been using SLR's for like a year and a half... so i still suck. Horribly.

haha it's just the usual pole with manfrotto suction cups and clamps

Really, i wouldve thought it'd be with one of those rigs that attaches to the underside of the car. Because this looks seriously clean and stable!
Where'd you mount the suction cups bro? On the car itself or on the chase car? :dunce:

24h Nurburgring/Nordschleife & Events 2009 with a (sadly) bad camera, gonna get some new and better pictures soon with my new one. :) And ofcourse the 24h Event 2011.

Some of these shots are fantastic

I only do photography as a hobby at the moment. Would love to be a pro motorsports photographer 👍

Here are some of my shots from 2010

I'm a photographer currently shooting LSU sports so I can't post any samples, but when I lived in Birmingham, AL, I shot a lot of motorsports. I've had stuff in several major publications but now I shoot for a wire service, so stuff ranges from ESPN/Sports Illustrated to local rags/newspapers.

These are all from Barber Motorsports Park.

I wish I could do it for work, but I like to dabble with a DLSR from time to time... anything automotive or architecture/landscape...

You guys need to get your asses over to the photography sub-forum and start up a gallery, looks like all the interest in GT5 has bought some serious talent to the forum.

The orange Apollo and the tan F10 5er in your Flickr stream look familiar... I've seen them on Fast Lane Daily before

edit: I just saw your pic of Derek D, holy crap!

Yes, I work for Fast Lane Daily.
