Anyway, some good entries here but I was surprised at the amount of shots that hadn't had a lot of editing done! I was expecting to see a lot of clean blurred shots but I'm very pleased to see people moving away from that. 👍

Slip, you've pulled off a great entry that really captures a sense of action there. It will be good to watch how the polls turn out. Thankyou to everybody who has voted for me so far!

I am not holding my breath on the result, but I can see some bad jagged edges on the body work on different parts, like the back and above the headlights, but I can see some jagged edges around the edges of the headlights. However are you shocked you got that many votes.

NTX's photo has 'hard-braking' written all over it, it's action packed, really, I love it, it suits the theme better.

LOON's is beautifully lighted, well clean, a real poster. But... it doesn't say 'hard-braking' as much as it's opponent. Both great shots, very different from each other.

I'm getting a lot more votes than I expected, I antecipated total humilliation, but I must have done something right with my pic. I personally love it, but I was the one that took it, so...

SlipZ vs Mog was a real pain, couldn't decide which one I liked best, and don't know who's pic is who's, which is a good thing for me.

Overall, awesome work from everyone.

BUT... I also clicked on the themes thingy thinking it was the way to state which theme I was voting for (I know, it's stupid), and I immediately PM'd jacoja about that, but he can't do anything about it.

So, all I can say is sorry about that. Won't happen again.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of 2.0 usage. I was looking for some more editing, but there are serveral nice shots in there that have utilized the rules and allowances. DP and Drift2XS are both nice entries, and I like Ultrashot's too. Hopefully round 2 will have more to be desired.

And TVR, just curious, but are you trying to degrade your opponent's shot? I don't see that that's necessary...

I'll admit that I did have a lot of jaggies, mostly angles on the back. Still, I'm noticing that lately, every time it's a tie, the next vote could go either way. I think whoever wins, it's because of luck. If we let it run long enough for everyone to vote, we'd still probably be close. I am surprized I managed to do this well actually, I was expecting to get half the votes TVR did. Not that I'm complaining...

I’m pretty sure this will be the first and last tournament for me. It’s all good, but you do need a decent amount of time to set everything up. Because I start work shortly, I will probably just be competing next time.

To be honest, im disapointed overall with the end result of entries this Tournament. Comparing it to previous tournaments i dont think this range of shots, are quite upto scratch. Theres a few really nice ones, Mogs, Slips is pretty good, Ultrashot and with Dead_poetic being my favourite. Like 440 mentioned before, i dont believe everyone is utilizing the tools available. But with that said best of luck to everyone, and i hope to see the standards raise.

Ummm I am a culprit of not using all my tools in fact only brightness and contrast and a bit of saturation..........If I get through to the next round I will try a lot harder especially if the poll is going at how it is at the moment which will mean I will be against ultrashot....(running to the hills)

Guys if you’re voting for a car based on a model you like, then that is a bad move I reckon. However I reckon votes should be selected on how much work has gone into a shot on improving by the looks of it.

I am just trying to point out some bad jagged edges, which could of made the car feel more natural.
