Photoshop Help - regarding installation

Well, I recently uninstalled my copy of Photoshop, as a lot of commands just weren't working. I'm trying to reinstall, but when I click the "setup" command in the folder where I installed it before, it shows the screen, says it's loading "InstallShield" and gets to 99% and just dissappears. Anyone know why this is happening?
 
Interesting. I have never had this happen. Do you have administrative rights if you have usernames. Also, you should try to repair the software, but I think that there is some option in the Preferences menu of photoshop to change or turn on and off commands. I have heard of the command problem from others.
 
I've had this before, but I have patience, and I just done it a few more times and it seemed to fix itself. Although I'm not telling you to do that, but that's what happened to me. This happens on many different installations. Mine only happened on a game. Just do a search, and make sure everything is off your computer before re-installing. Try Custom Install instead of Typical, etc. Repair...

Weird problem. I have no idea why it happens.
