Well there's day one. It would be impropper of me to continue this daily, but I'll do weekly or monthly updates I suppose. Until I get bored with it. Sorry for those of you who'll have to endure this (:

Pick my resolutions!

1600x1200

oh wait....

Dude, I've so been there for like four years. d: I even had THREE monitors on one computer running 1600 x 1200. It was 4800 x 1200!! Woo woo!

Just makin sure you're still on the straight and narrow.... :)

Free yourself of Microsoft so you can be cool like Sage.

Make a long overdue visit to Concept.

Stop popping / cracking your knuckles.

Purchase an RX-8 and scratch the idea of an S2000.

Yep. I suggest those.

Huh? I have Office installed on this computer, for your information. ;) (And I actually like it)

LM, come down to Atlanta. We'll go pimp so ho's. :sly:

Sage, you have something by Microsoft on your computer? I used to think you were cool. Now you're just another one of us. :trouble:

Ha ha ha, excellent (: I need to make a trip out that way this summer anyway so maybe I'll pay you a visit while I'm there.

Maybe my butt. You're detouring in this direction ad that's final. We'll go test drive some S2000's or just take a ride in yours. Then you'll let me take it for a spin. ;)

I can't help it if they make one good product!

MS Office is ... OK. If you're not doing any database connectivity or built in functions with it you may want to check out ThinkFree. It's only $50 and it does a lot of the MS Office stuff in the same format.

Loud, stop farting and belching in public. You gonna piss the police off by doing that, Beleive me, I did it before.

Well, I already bought Office, and on a student discount, so it's all good. ;) Does ThinkFree Write do macros, data merges, and track changes? (I use all of those, especially macros and track changes, quite often)

No macros, which can be a good thing, and I'm not sure about the others. I'm sure it has a merge function. The biggest problem we had was its inability to do database connects. We do lots of things where we pull data from a database and smack it into a form. Sort of a merge, but done with databases.

Ah, I see... yeah, considering I have exactly one computer to work with, database functionality isn't exactly a top priority. ;) Track changes are an absolute must for me though, since I have all of my Honors English papers edited that way. But anyway, since I do already have Office, it's a moot point. I'm wondering though when the next version of Studio MX is coming out... I have MX, but I can't justify paying whatever amount to buy 2004 (even though most of its new features are features that I badly want).

Now I'm just rambling. One more week of Christmas break...

Because I'm thinking about it today, but want it to seem more like a planned thing, we're going to call this a three week update.

I'll get back on track for 2005.
