Pictures in Sigs??

I was viewing a thread on the app when I came across this.

Now this looks like a picture in a sig, so I went onto the browser site, and there it's a line of code.

So it looks like the app shows embeded HTML, while the browser doesn't. Any reason? (Link to thread here.

App must run on different forum software than the regular forum. Same reason why half the smilies don't show up on the app. I guess embedding html is allowed in signatures on the app.

There's no particular reason other than the fact the app is built on the ForumRunner platform, which will interpret text differently than your web browser.
