Piedmont International Raceway - United States race circuit with high-speed turns and tricky braking sections.

Piedmont International Raceway was a proposed 2.97 mile circuit which would have been built near Siler City, North Carolina. Plans called for a road course along with a drag strip; they would share pit and garage facilities and both events could be hosted simultaneously. However, budget overruns and proximity to already well-established race courses nearby (namely Road Atlanta and VIR) meant that the dream had died before a single brick was laid.
