Yup. Though there's the possibility of replacing "People" with "A person"... both targeted the same threads, and both posted porn links, so I'm almost positive "they" are one person.

Two days ago a similar person posted 91 times in an hour over at GTN. 91 porn links.

He had the same style as Pinky and Martl. Start in the first forum from the top and post in every thread you see.

It's usually not a person. It's software that searches the web looking for forums of a certain nature. Once it's found a forum with appropriate demographics, it automatically registers and begins posting the links.

If you notice the content, it's nearly identical. Preprogrammed and easy to insert new titels.

Often called "porn bots".

Spam. Much like telemarketers with no conscience, and a speed dial on crack.

The giveaway tip was the fact that it hit the first half dozen threads in the first forum it came across. They're bots, definitely. Our only defense is to be vigilant and ban/edit them as soon as they come along, so if anybody sees it happening like that, please use the Report To Moderators button immediately so we are alerted to the problem.

Advanced..Try this: The spam bots will scan web pages and forums searching for the html code "malito". It will then log that address into it's database. These bots simply are a piece of software surfing along scanning away unmmaned logging and emailing out spam.

Have you heard the latest that they've been spamming text messagers? Yep, firing the porn links right into your phone.

i have noticed a good deal of "hacker" activity on GTP. most often (and this only happends when im on this site) is comp mysteriously shutting down by itself, freezing, ect. when im on other sites my comp is fine.
