Get ready to have your socks blown off if you like sailing ships and pirates and adventure /rpg type open ended games.


I have been using Mods and other software from this place...and have been following the development of this game closely.

Looks brilliant.

I see that the developers are also working on an operating system, I presume its a version of Linux although there is something ever so slightly strange about the interface, not Gnome, not quite KDE.

I presume the game will be launched (no pun intended) for Windows as well as the Galaxy Operating System.

Edit: 'Galaxy Productions is always developing new software products for Windows®.' So it seems I have an answer.

Man I am playing a mod version of Age of Pirates that they just clunked toghether...aside from fixing a bunch of bugs before the 1.42 patch came out..it was one of the only ways most people could actually PLAY the game..it was that buggy...Now I am waiting for the update.

This game is about two years or so in the making and it takes into account all the feedback from fansites of this type of game...

I wonder why the bigger developers never thought to do that ?:)
