So I'm not a huge racing fan in real life but ive seen a few nascar, F1 races and as far as I am aware of not only do they refuel much faster(as stated in other posts I know, and as long as its same for everybody I'm not too worried about that).

But if I'm correct during pit stops in most series in real life they can mkae certain changes to tuning such as adjusting downforce and other things that don't require taking the car apart.

IMO, it would be nice to be able to make certain changes during pit stops. Let me know if I'm way off on this or what. reading the posts about slow pit stops got me thinking that the time could be used for other things as well.

I'd love if they fixed damage on pit stops. Being not a very good driver, my car is almost unrecognisable by the end of the Indy 500, due to all those concrete barriers. I love my car, and can't bear to see it in that way, so I physically have to run the event in bumper cam. I know I'm being silly, but I wish they would fix the car during pit stops.

Being able to change aero levels (or dare I say it tyre pressures! :P) Would be great ... I don't see what else we could change in a pit stop?

Would be great for testing aero set ups though ... especially on stuff like the Pescarolos and similar cars etc.

Pedantic I'm the same as you, I refuse to drag at top gear test track because I cant bring myself to ram my car into the barriers :P

Thank God, I'm not the only one who does this either! My drag car is a Charger and is my favourite car of all time, like, ever. And I hate braking too late after a drag race here for that same reason.
