Pit Stops Willow Spring bug?

I was doing the Super class Willow Springs 20 mile challenge.

end of Lap 5 I pass the no1 place McLaren F1 '94 and head into the pits. The McLaren follows me in. As I am about to stop at my pit box I noticed the McLaren suddenly appear already doing it's pit stops. not only that as I am putting new tyres and refuelling to finish race the McLaren is already pulling out of the pit stops. By the time, I make it to about 1st corner the gap is 4 seconds. WTH!!!

anybody had similar issue or was this a one time fluke?

PS I still won the race before someone makes a comment like "learn to drive noob and stop complaining because you lost"

You probably have been pennalise for pit speed, sometimes you get a bump when entering the pits, sometimes you get stuck after refueling...

Just wondering, what car did you use for this race?

I used my rocket so I didn't pit

I have ran that race a few times now in different cars. I saw one time where something that seemed a bit odd happened. I came up on the lead car exited the last corner passed him and went into the pits. He appeared in front of me as he turned into his pit area and exited the pit before me. No big deal, I was still able to over take him and win the race without issue. If the few times I have ran the race I only saw this the one time and in that case he was right on my bumper entering the pits and I entered at full speed
