Pitting Problem

When I was racing against my brother in arcade, I went to pit in. I was driving a 787b on Laguna Seca. I came into the pit road and it went into auto drive like it should. It stopped and backed up, but hit a curb, and then went forward a little bit, then came back and hit the curb and went forward again etc. So I was stuck. Luckily, my bro accidentaly pitted and knocked my loose. Has anybody expierenced this?
 
yea, but i was fooling around. I ran into the wrong end of the pit (on purpose), while the computer was trying to turn me around in auto drive it got stuck.
 
I haven't experienced that... however, the AI isn't too bright.
 
I experienced that on an endurance race on GT2 one time at Laguna Seca. I was so :mad:

Anyway, I got a scare once on GT3 there. I pitted, going to fast for the auto drive to slow me down, I slammed the wall as it tried to turn me left. It stopped for about 5 seconds, but did back up and got me going again. I didn't lose any track position, so it was alright. :burnout:

I experienced the same thing on GT3. But i was stuck in that corner for about thirty seconds:mad:
Luckily i had a two lap advantage, but it still sucked big time.
 
Also in Cote D'zure (monanco) When i come to a hault from hitting a wall or something, i start to spin...and i mean spin! I'm at 0mph and the car is like a fast record player for like 5 seconds....sometimes it wont stop for a awhile.

Every happen to u's?

YES! That has happened to me! It usually happens right after the chicane... i'm just sitting there, and i turn left or right (no acceleration), and suddenely my car spins like nuts! It's almost like the road is made of ice or something. :eek:
 
man, that sux! :( It's so weird though... is it a glitch, or is it supposed to do that?
 
That spinning hasn't happened to me, but I have seen it a couple of times. I was racing the Clio Race there I believe. At that little jagged turn after the long straight on the back, the 3 regular Clio's all just turned left and slammed into the wall. I was approaching them slowly. I got right in with them trying to pass them all, and 2 of them just started spinning like that. Every lap when they got to that point, they just drive into that wall, apparently NOT in first gear.....

It was funny, but getting mixed up that one time costed me about 5-8 extra seconds to make up to the front 2. It is really funny though :rotfl:
 
This happened to me during the F1 series in Leguna Seca, at what was going to be my last pit stop. I think it's part-error, part glich. If you go into that pit too hot, the auto drive won't slow the car down enough to make the turn. And once it gets stuck, there's nothing you can do but watch the computer fumble around with your as you lose the lead. Depressing.
 
THe AI in ur game seems to be pretty stupid, but I have not seen that in my game. The AI behaves normal, no stupid collision, in fact they can take some corners , better than me!
 
It happened to me in 2 player on Laguna Seca too.

Except i was there for about 30 seconds.
And i lost the race too i think. :(
