Pitting whilst in a practise or qualifing session

hi everybody,

When I drive into the pits during a practise or qualifying session how do I go into the garage to make setup changes?

Every time I request a stop or drive into the pit i just get my tyres changed etc outside my garage.

You don't say what platform so that makes it hard to answer.

For PS4 using a T300 wheel press the options button and that brings up the menu.

You pause the game then select return to pit box and it will bring you back to the garage where you can make setup changes
 
Thanks guys, i knew you could go to the garage from the pause menu but i wondered if you could do it by driving into the pit lane
