planes at le mans?

i have seen a few pictures with the planes. i heard they show up at the start of one of the endurance races but i dont know for sure, havent done any yet. can anyone else confirm this?

for the record i believed it was a crappy photochop when i first saw it too.

this is not photoshopped i spotted them flying overhead at le sarthe they only show up when you run the 24hr races though but it is not photoshopped

No he's right. I went ahead and did 24 Hour race to see if I could get it, only did 1 lap. And he's right. They do fly over head.

I've done both 24 races at la Sarthe, and still didn't see them, do they show up in the same spot each time?

You can see and hear them above you right when you cross the start line at the very beginning of the race.

I actually found a bug... When you save the replay of the planes flying overhead and take pics in photomode, usually it will only let you do it once each time. As soon as you hit select after taking a photo, the planes usually dissapear. But sometimes they reappear in the dumbest places - this is about 3 laps into the race....

Another bug is that you usually can't save your shots as Film, that you develop later to pictures: when developing them, the planes won't be there in 9 out of 10 cases. Same has happened to me with backfire pictures.

At the start only - but if you watch the replay and enter the photo mode you can randomly catch them in different areas as already mentioned.

U can have a similar bug in rally race with the photographers; when u hit "select" in replay mode the photogapher remain in the middle of the road instead of escaping, and u can hit him with your car, making some funny pics !
