after watching this video i was really anxious to get on haha im new to drifting but can hold my own for the time being...i also have a capture card and can get decent quality footage...i think i read that u were from the west coast i myself am we should link up and make get some sick footage i can send to you no prob cause your editing blows mine away haha
 
Yeah Gor, me and Enzo tried to get some tandems yesterday but the lag was crazy. We're gonna try again today.

Yeah Gor I'm kinda curious about this too as I drift a Alfa 8C, but Enzo is giving me crap about it not being a real drift car. :lol: Any thoughts?
 
Count me in!! If I'm guaranteed some scenes/shots in the video. :)

Is there anyway you can do this in HD?? Also, when will you be holding these rooms for the video?? Any Specific time? Date?
 
THIS is the kind of videos I'm waiting to see come out of GT5 sorta the same things that were made in forza, very fun to make and entertaining to watch.

I would like to get in on this but I'm going to pass, 1 because my drifting is no where near up to scratch and the different timezones.

Good Luck with the making of the video though, look forward to see the final.
 
One concern for me is, I do not have an HD capture card. If online replays allowed viewers to change to hood cam, that would not be an issue.

However, since I prefer specific camera work and placement, I will have to record live and in standard def :indiff: It's not the best, but it definitely isn't the worst!

I will be hosting a (private) lounge tonight, probably about 7PM PST so send me a friend request!

I don't think it really is since I'm not actually hosting the lobby. I have managing privileges of a lobby GT servers "lend" me, so if there's any lag at all, it a server issue, not a location thing.


As far as directing, if you don't have a headset, it would really help if you all could be on xat.com/EvergreenDrift when we film. It helps with communication so you don't have to press start to chat.
 
Some simple things to keep in mind:

1.Try to tandem as much as possible
1a. Be courteous: if you mess up, get off the track.
2. Hopefully we can regularly regroup so no one's left behind
3. KEEP DRIFTING! Ignore me cause my camera work is based off your drifting!

Also, how did you record these races? My camera just doesn't cut it..

I recorded with a capture card (EasyCap USB), and I used hood cam because it gave the best viewing area after cropping
 
How was EasyCap? I need to record replays since my Pinnacle doesn't work real well.

It's EXTREMELY cheap, and if you have the perfect driver for it, you get some much bang for your buck.

But I have yet to find a driver for Windows 7 that works just as well as it did for XP.
