play.com exclusive colours

My aplogies if I'm just being really dense (which is entirely possible) but whats the deal with the play.com pre-order exclusive colours? I assumed you would get access to these cars from the beginning or get some sort of code to access them. Do I just have to wait until the manufacturers and models come up and then the exclusive colour will be available?
 
Play Should have emailed you a code that you can enter on the PlayStation Store (they emailed me my one on the day of release) after entering the code you download the cars (from the store) and when you next load up GT they should be in your garage. Maybe check your email spam folder, failing that get into contact with Play's Customer services. Hope this helps.
 
check your emails, after it got dispatched to me, play sent me an email with the code and instructions!
