Play with friends - lobby only?

Is the only way to play against friends in a made up lobby and then give friemds the room ID?

Also is there a way to have the exact same car? Or at least the same specs as be unfair otherwise. Do you have to rh carbon your garage and your friend has to have it as well or can you borrow a car?

If you go in lobbies you can filter on lobbies just with friends, or if you are in a lobby and friends haven't started GTS yet, they can click you and join game.
You might be able to send game invite through PSN but I don't know.

I don't think you can limit to car 'yet' but being friends they will surely abide to any car rule.

You can't borrow cars for lobby.

You can set a minimum weight and a Maximum hp limit.
 
Tried it and as had different cars it wasn't really a race as one just steamed away even though, even though found where the limits for bhp were.

Why isn't there a way to choose a specific car and then both equal to race?
