Playing a PS2 through a PC ?

can this be done? I've just spent all of my money on a PC of my own rather than using my Dad's slow one. I'm kind of broke so I cant afford a tv to run my PS2 on. so can I run the ps2 throught the PC or PC screen?? probibly to good to be true but could someone either tell me how to do this :) or tell that it cant be done :guilty:
 
I think there's a thread on this already but yes you can do it but at least in my case it's been choppy the bigger the window is on your screen.
 
Some of the newer computers (only ones I can think of are HP with the multimedia packages t.v. remote, etc.) might be able to do a better job because they are more optimized, better software and hardware.

I have a cheap usb t.v. card and a rather "old" hp laptop... so it doesn't work all that well.
