Hi there.

I am considering buying a Playseat challenge.

Overall it seems to get good reviews for what it is.

I am almost ready to buy it. Only being hold a bit back because I am not sure if I am to tall for it.

I am about 6,4 Feet ( 1,96 Cm. )

The official site says its good for 7 feet. But I read some reviews saying it is not so good if you are to tall.

Does anyone here it and have expirience with being a tall guy using it ?

Also are there any good alternatives for a simple construction with a seat wich might suit a tall guy better ?

I could have room for a bigger rig. Just I am not sure if I want to have a real big iron rig in my home office, as I am also kinda guy who likes to have a clean and good looking room.

I was Looking at something like Obutto Ozone, Wich I am sure is a much more better and sturdy Rig compared to the challenge but it is also very big and heavy, wich I am not sure I want in the long run.

I'm 6'2" and I have a Playseat Challenge and love it. I haven't had any issues that stem from my height. The chair is pretty adjustable for what it is - you can set your lean angle as well as pedal distance. It wasn't hard for me to find a comfortable setting. I also really like the fact that it folds up and is easy to store in a small place.

Well I went ahead and bought it.

I agre with you its pretty good for what it is.

I am 196 cm. About 95 Kg.

Just tested it a bit for a couple hours. So far I am very happy with it. This is exactly what I wanted, Its a huge imrovement over my old Wheelstand Pro.

I also bought a Drivehub, So now I am able to play all my Xbox / Playstation 4 games on my good old G25 :-)

Sorry for the necro.

I'm 194cm tall and I would like to know how your experience was with the Playseat over the long period.

Thanks

@placeedo

No need to be sorry. Glad if I can help.

I am not the most hardcore player. But for my needs I am still very happy with the Challenge.

I dont use it everyday. But sometimes I do use it for like 2-3 hours in sessions with out any isues. Its very stable and seems og good quality for what it is. ( It dosent look of much, but in reality its very comfortable and stable whet you sit down in it)

I will defenetly recomend it for some one who wants a more stable and better solution compared to a wheel stand.
