I have a Playseat Evo and I think it's a great rig and all. Although every time I sit on it or while i'm racing,
the supports are making sort of unbearable creaking noises. This is a big problem especially if i'm racing while everyone else in the house is sleeping at night.

I'm not sure if this is a common problem with this rig or not. I just would like to know if there is a way to get rid of it.

Another problem is that the shifter mount moves around alot and im wondering if anyone else has that problem.

Kind of old post here so you may have already fixed your problem, but if not it's pretty easy to take care of the noises.

Just spray some WD40 on the coils under the seat and that will take care of that part. If you're getting noise from other parts of the seat, take it apart, spray the problem area down then put it back together. It's not a permanent fix, you'll probably have to spray it again every few weeks.

As for the shifter mount, there's a few things you can try depending on where you are getting movement. If it is the adjustable part with then it should be easy. Just thicken the areas where the tubes connect with some cardboard or tape. If that part is snug then it's a bit trickier. You could drill a few holes into the base of the seat and where the adapter meet and bolt them together.
