Playseat Evo and Logitech G27

Bought this combo a few days ago, hated it. The G27 has a huge deadzone right in the middle. I expected it to be a 'real driving simulator'. The Playseat was cool but useless without a good wheel. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has bought and returned a playseat and/or g27, if so, how was the customer service? Hassle-free? I'm a bit nervous because one of the bars to the playseat has some marks on it from the tightening wheels, the ones you turn to tighten the pedals in place. These marks are inevitable when adjusting the pedals. I bought it through the playseat usa website. I'm hoping I can get a full refund. :nervous:
 
I would try returning the G27 and asking for a replacement. Mine has nothing I would describe as a huge deadzone and if your does it is a defective unit and should be covered under warranty for a replacement. I you get another G27 and are still dissatisfied then I'd look into returning the other gear, or look at another wheel, possibly the Thrustmaster or a Fanatec?
