Playseat evo/Obutto with g27 pedals upside down.

I currently have a playseat evo and have an Obutto on the way next week...

Ok so here is the problem.. So I want to mount my g27 pedals upside down is there any simple way to use either of these cockpits to do so???

I am building myself a 3rd cockpit that will be much more versatile as I will be able to mount the pedals however I wish, but this cockpit will likely not be near complete for at least a month.

I was thinking of building some sort of pedal box so I can move my pedals from cockpit to cockpit but am not sure what that would look like ;)

Ok so I am doing a handbrake mod (Chilicoke..) and the handbrake has this metal rail hanging from the bottom I have no idea how to remove it and I would really like to get rid of it... I am pointing to it in the pictures. HELP!!!!!

The linkage has been pressed in with a solid rivet, the easiest way is to drill it off using a drill bit slightly smaller than the diameter of the rivet. Once you drill deep enough past the thickness of the "hat" it should just fall right off.
 
Thank you Chilli! I think my e-brake/handbrake is almost the exact same as urs except I got it off a junked acura. Can't wait to get this done... just gotta practice some soldering.

I just drilled straight through the rivet and it will not come out do I need a bigger hole???

Ok so I reversed my pedals then re-mounted them then mounted them to a chunk of wood but I am a bit stuck as to how I can now properly mount them for use now.

Ok I got that piece of crap rivet out.... Man, I gotta get a new drill.

It looks like you removed part of the switch mechanism on your handbrake in ur vid Chili?

So once I wire up the handbrake I just touch those two wires together to activate it?? How does that work, where do I place the wires so that when I pull up they touch??

Can I get some help on how you wired your handbrake?
 
My handbrake switch is identical to yours and I left it intact, untouched.

The switch shorts (contacts) when you pull up the lever, so just solder both wires to either side of the switch. One on the base of the switch itself, and the other on the pointy end under the spring.
 
did a quick reverse mount pedal mod on the obutto... used a piece would i found in the garage and self tapping screws

^ that looks AWESOME. Can you measure the dimensions of the wood so I can get an exact cut? And the hardware exactly? I'm going to do that and would appreciate it!
