If I'm going to drop that kind of money on a cockpit I would have to pass on this one and get the Visionracer VR3. There just isn't any comparision.

My good friend and racebuddy bought the VR3 early last winter some time, it's very nice indeed. Assembly and build quality etc. is very good. Driving comfort is quite good, better than Playseat at least (my only comparison regarding prebuilt sim-cockpits).

Overall a really nice setup, the only quibble I think worth pointing out is perhaps a lack of stability for the gearshift mount.

The best part, - he sold me his "old" Playseat A1GP for a very "friendly" price.

What is so special about that which allows it to have an 800€ price tag? The F1 position? Well the VRC comes for around 260€ and it has an F1 position, and a skinnier bar between your legs (I prefer no bar but skinnier is better than fatter).

Again, what is so special about this?
