Playseat g27 gearshift support

Looking to raise the position of the shifter from where it sits with seat frame mounted holder. Did anyone try this?

Pics show it only mounted level with steering wheel surface, which is too high, but it looks that the support will be slide-able along a rail. Anybody tried it yet?

Hi, the problem is, as you said, that it's too high. If you slide the support down, the wheel itself will be too close so it's not a good option.

Personnally i modified the official gearshift support, and now the gearshift knob is aligned with the bottom of the wheel (like in my car) and adjustable :

And on the support thing - from the pic on the website it seems it adds another rail that the support itself could slide on, without changing the position of the wheel.

Sorry i don't have any details about mine, its just two pieces of rusty metal i found by a friend who repairs cars.

About the support, it seems to slide only horizontally from left to right... i don't see how you can lower the gearshift holder with that ?

You're right. What they are selling is probably just one piece of metal that bolts to bottom of the steering wheel pad (which is pictured). For some reason I got confused there
