PlaySeat + Sparco R100

So, I thought I could replace the seat with something more comfortable. I came across the Sparco R100, which is around 210 Euros.

Would that work? Does anyone happen to have done such a mod already, with said seat? I'm curious about the mounting and I'd add 3 braces in order to improve the stability of the base anyway.
 
Was going to order one of these until I found a bargain on ebay. Mounting depends on what it is going to be bolted to. Your local sparco stockist should be able to tell you the dimensions for the mounting points. What rig have you got?

There's no such place here. >_> I'm living near Paris and...well...don't get me wrong but all the "cool ghetto kids" are buying 50$ seats at the local supermarket, so the car suppliers don't even have the real ones in stock. I got a PlaySeat Alcantara but I thought about putting a metal plate under the seat anyway.

On the Playseat Alcantra, how comfortable is the seat compared to a real seat like my STI?

It's ok'ish. I'm a bit bigger (both tall and broad, thanks to playing rugby) so it's not as comfortable as a real one.

Then again, I went to the local AUTOBACS today and surprisingly they just got a shipment of SPARCO seats (they said they simply want to have some in stock in case someone doesn't want a crap seat :lol: ) - even the R100 I wanted! I'd have to cut around 8cm off of the braces underneath the playseat but that shouldn't be a problem, uh? (Playseat -> 42cm wide | Sparco R100 -> 34cm wide)
