Playstation exclusive franchise heading to Xbox

Sonys long running exclusive MLB game, developed by their own San Diego studio, is heading to Xbox for its 2021 iteration. Kinda funny to see the PlayStation logo on the front of an Xbox case.

I wonder what else Sony would be open to releasing on multiple platforms in the future.

I believe that was due to pressure from the MLB. I wouldn't expect anything else along those lines from Sony.

The fact it's coming to XB1 as well as the next-gen consoles is fantastic news for me as I'm not planning on getting a PS5 until GT7 comes out. I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking considering it's their first foray into developing for multiple consoles, but even decent by Sony San Diego standards should beat anything MLB was able to bring to the plate during their attempt.

Perhaps. Interesting no less and maybe if it seems we'll and they see the $s rolling we might see other things. Not suggesting we'll see Uncharted and Gran Turismo of course but clearly it's an open door Sony are willing to explore.
