WOW! wot a game!!!
With the inclusion of Tsukuba race track and some imaginative cars, this is gonna be the game of the season! without doubt!
The handling of the cars are pretty much the same as GT3 but the graphics are sharper, and the heads up display more realistic, with a rev counter redline clearly marked.
The rally mode is also alot more realistic with the car handling more predictably than before, and with a much greater sense of speed on a long and twisty and VERY technical rally track.
The newest addition to the GT family are the american cars, with A Chevelle, Camaro and Plymouth Prowler adding a whol!!e new spin to the game. Some with over 350hp and no brakes or handling!
Controls were slighly different with me bashing walls as I tried to control slides, but I think it had more to do with the dual shock being to sensitive, as I didnt have the same probs with the GT-FORCE.
After watching Best Motoring Videos being filmed at Tsukuba, getting to grips with the GT version took just one lap! its so real, so to scale, I could not believe it, with the AI cars braking and cornering with the same lines as the real japanese drivers!(albeit not as competitive, but I think they will be in the full version)
all in all, i'm very impressed, and very excited for the new game.
now only question is who to pester for my XMAS gift!!!
