Playstation Network Security breached again?

Anonymous claims it broke into the PlayStation Network and has a 50 gigabyte database of email accounts and their passwords. Ten million accounts "are at risk," says the hacker involved. The passwords appear to be encrypted, and many of the accounts published in this document appear to be from northern Europe. This still would be a great time to double-check your password security.

Linky.

It's not confirmed yet, but assuming it is true, as I recall the last time that this happened was supposedly done as an incredibly poorly thought-out, idiotically justified and completely unhelpful response to what ultimately happened with the GeoHotz scandal.
So what is the excuse this time, if it has happened? Because it is Wednesday?

Apart from the fact that the guy has no life, uses expletives so much that his point doesn't make sense, and actually puts a e-mail to contact him with, I really don't believe this. Besides, since when is everyone's password exactly 32 characters?
Example
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx person@place.com

This is just a random list of confirmed e-mails:tdown: A big "fear tool" to those who believe it:ouch:...

EDIT: And, yes R1600 is right.

WTH...?? Why are you even posting something that's obviously a desperate way to get attention? And in the MOTORSPORTS section? I'm wondering if you are that guy...

So thats why the network has been slow as of late. Change your passwords people. Remove your CC's.

They probably did it to get Sony's attention away from gamescom, probably to make them look like a fool for not making their network security as tight as, dare I say it, Xbox Live? But if Sony have to take it down, please, not a months worth of maintenance and "We will have Playstation Network back up soon".

His tweet has now been deleted.

Still, there is no confirmation that it's real. Furthermore, there is evidence to suggest that this is fake (the email address being from the previous hacking or something).

I do think this is a hoax, But iv'e changed my PSN password just incase. Especially considering northern europe was the reported target.

Sony has given IGN the following statement:

"We’ve confirmed that the recent claim that PlayStation Network was illegally hacked and that customer passwords and email addresses were accessed is completely false."

All is well!

Kotaku strikes again!

It isn't just Kohaku that put this out there. The Twitter image of the original posts is still up on IGN if you gander a glance.
